This club is for individuals of any profession interested in building and learning about robotics in the Southwest of Western Autralia. Anyone is welcome! Topics discussed on the list include practical issues related to building and operating robots, as well as the theoretical and philosophical issue behind robotics and AI. The purpose of this list is to encourage the discussion of robotics and related technologies. We have very few rules. They are summarized as DO and DON'T lists. DOs: Contribute anything technical that you feel is appropriate for the group. Share cool websites or other interesting information to the group. Help others find resources and information on robotics. DON'Ts: Flames, personal attacks, or other poor conduct is NOT allowed on our list. Pure commercial postings are NOT allowed, or are spam or very nearly spam like postings. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Swrobotics Archives. To post a message to all the list members, send email to swrobotics@lists.everythingrobotics.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Swrobotics
Subscribe to Swrobotics by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
